The oldest golf course in Andalusia. Its construction is linked to Princess Beatrice of Battenberg, mother of Queen Victoria Eugenia, who spearheaded the original 9-hole project, later expanded by Tom Simpson — also the designer of Turnberry and Muirfield — to the current 18 holes.
